I was privileged to have Ming Lok as my coach for 3 months from January to March 2019. It was a period of time filled with doubts and confusion as I just quitted my full-time job as a regular teacher and started developing my career as a freelance tutor.
As Ming Lok has been a successful freelancer for a long time, I assumed she could give me much advice. However, instead of directly giving me advice, she, as a coach, guided me through the thinking process of making different decisions.
For example, as I had no idea how to start up my career, Ming Lok helped me to set goals by asking me a series of questions and worked with me to come up with actions to fulfill these goals.
Two months later, thanks God that I got more and more job offers and had to decide what to take and what not to. With Ming Lok's guidance, I set priorities according to my preferences, which has served as a useful guideline till now.
